The current vacant positions are:
1. Funeral Arrangers and Conductors – They are responsible for arranging and managing the funeral process from the preparation of the remains to coordinating the ceremony. Funeral Arrangers will also be working with embalmers. Other duties and responsibilities include writing the obituary, preparation and filing of the death certificate, preparation of other paperwork such as insurance claims, benefits and the like.
2. Coordinators – Funeral coordinators generally liase with the funeral director. Specifically, they register death, organize printing of the Order of Service, arrange the funeral service especially venue, inform relatives and friends of the funeral details, send thank you cards, among others.
3. Attendants – Funeral attendants are responsible for different tasks primarily directed to assisting funeral directors for the purpose of ensuring that the service runs smoothly. Specifically, attendants greet people upon entering the funeral home, offer assistance of mourners or as they enter their limousines, close the caskets when needed, assist in the transfering of the deceased, get burial permits as well as register deaths, escort mourners to wakes or funerals, drive funeral vehicles, carry flowers to limousines or hearses and the like.
4. Branch and Resident Managers – Managers often direct the shipment and preparation of the bodies. They schedule, plan and coordinate funerals, placement of the casket, inform loved ones of benefits they will be receiving from the deceased, consult on funeral arrangement and the like.
5. Pre-arrangement Service Coordinator – The primary responsibility is to provide information prior to finalizing the funeral service. This involves visiting you at your home, emailing funeral information as well as a pre arrangement form and the like. Basically, this is preparing for the wake and the funeral.
6. Embalmers – Embalmers are responsible for preparing the dead for burial starting from disinfecting the body to preserving it for the funeral services.
7. Consultants for Multimedia (i.e. audio/photo/video/graphics) – Funeral consultants generally take charge of the documentation of the service. From the wake to the burial, consultants schedule, plan and coordinate with videographers and photographers. The consultant will also have a say in finalizing the details of the output in albums, cds and the like.
8. Administrative Secretaries and Assistants – Are responsible for general office work, answering telephones, inquiries, assist in funerals, viewings and after care.
9. Bookkeepers and Accountants – Are keepers of the company’s financial records. They are responsible for updating and maintaining various financial records such as accounting records, receipts, accounts payable, expenditures, profits, losses and the like.
10. Receptionist – The primary responsibilities of funeral service receiptionist include the answering of telephones, direct and screen calls, take and relay messages on time, greet people entering the office, file documents and prepare letters, schedule appointments, among others.
